It appears that the younger artists are more eager to experiment. The works of R. M. Naeem and Salman Ikram mark this urge to incorporate new visual elements in their art. The three paintings by Naeem in this show demonstrate his mastery over the drawing skill as well as a fresh approach towards the subject.
In a similar fashion, Salman evolves a personal idiom in his studio pottery. He explores the basic shape of traditional pottery to make unique pieces. His work, both glazed and mat, has painterly and sensitive surfaces.
